I worry not about what hides beyond the fog, but what the fog reveals inside one’s mind. Sintra is surrounded by myths and folk tales that go back to the Roman Empire. After capturing its atmosphere and this mysterious lady that was wandering alone in the forest, it’s easy for me to understand why.
After the last shot, we went our separate ways, I’m guessing she noticed I was taking photos but didn’t seem to mind. I’m glad, she gifted me with a beautiful series.
Hi. I am a Portuguese photographer, cinematographer, and creative director, born in Madeira Island. On this website, there are photos from personal, documentary, editorial and commissioned work, captioned by not so random thoughts on science, philosophy, and other stuff. All my life I have found comfort in minimalism.
